(August 19, 2024) The MNBC Senate has dismissed Clara Morin Dal Col’s appeal of the Chief Electoral Officer’s decision to stop her from running in the upcoming MNBC General Election, but has failed to provide their reasons for doing so.
Despite the fact that the decision note from the Senate indicated that either party to the appeal could request the reasons for the decision, and despite the fact that Ms. Morin Dal Col made requests for the reasons in two separate emails following receipt of the decision, nothing has been provided todate. But yet the Senate wasted no time in posting the decision on its portal on the MNBC website just a short time after it was sent to Ms. Morin Dal Col.
In her follow-up emails requesting the reasons, the declared candidate for President also asked:
Which Senators participated in the review of my appeal and this decision?
How did each Senator vote in the decision?
Who wrote the decision?
What factors of the principles of natural justice were considered?
In dealing with my Appeal, did the Senate seek or receive or consider any other information from any sources, other than from the Appellant (me) and the Respondent?
